Houseboat Schwanennest: Cosy as a nest
The Schwanennest owes its name to the cosy bunk, where you feel as safe as little swan chicks in a nest. The comfortable bed (1.40 x 2.00 m) invites you to snuggle up and dream, while the "blue salon" provides everything you need for your holiday.
Our first houseboat is firmly anchored at the Edelteich, which belongs to the Rothermann fish farm. Those staying overnight should know that a boat can gently be in motion.

Houseboat Schwanennest in Detail
The Bunkhouse
The Schwanennest is entered from the aft and begins with the cosy bunk. A 140cm wide bed awaits you here. As this bed is in a niche, you have to climb in from the side, which means that the person sleeping at the back may sometimes have to "step over" the person at the front. Under the bed there are drawers in which you can store a lot. All bed linen is of course included. A narrow wardrobe offers further space for clothes. A porthole directly above the bed provides sufficient fresh air.
Bathroom
Opposite the bunk is the bathroom with a shower, a washbasin and a WC. There you will find towels, soaps, shower gels and shampoo, a hairdryer, various hygiene articles and two drawers to serve as storage space.
The blue Salon
Our blue salon is kitchen, dining room and reading corner in one.
The galley is equipped with:
- Kitchen sink with washing-up liquid, dish towels and sponge
- Induction cooker with 2 plates
- Fridge with freezer compartment
- Coffee maker and kettle
- Crockery, cutlery, glasses, cups and everything else you need for cooking
The dining area consists of a small kitchen island that is both a work surface and a dining table. The reading corner offers two cosy armchairs, one of which could be pulled out as a bed. Our wifi connection also provides a good connection for all digital (reading) devices.

On Deck
At the bow of our houseboat there is a small terrace, equipped with two wicker armchairs and a table. So that the sun doesn't get too hot, you will of course also find a parasol here. And for lovers of natural waters, the boat is also equipped with a swimming ladder.
